Silence. There was nothing he had ever wanted more.
"hello..?"

Maybe that's why he left her to her own breath. Just like the nights before.
"Adam?"

He hadn't said anything yet, and she still knew it was him so he hung up the phone and left the house before the phone could speak again.

California.2009.

They lie on the hot sand near the shore, close enough to the water so that the rhythmic waves could brush and caress their sunburned skin. It never seemed to fail to put them to sleep.

Adam would always gently brush his fingertips threw, in, and out, of her hair after it was warm and silky from the sun.She would always wake up to this spectacular man.His perfect smell and melting brown eyes were like magnets to her body, just a natural attraction.

What he had not been prepared for was her likeness to a bird,
Elegant
Whimsical
musical
mesmerizing and often times for many others without a word, would easily take flight.

Again He left her to silence, as she had done to him. As they had done together on the beaches of Santa Cruz.

"Adam...i know it's you. Can you meet me somewhere after work? i get off at 6:30."

Her voice forever had possessed his brain and ached his heart. Played tricks with his eyes and made him salivate.

"Adam, could you just, God! Say something!"
nothing
"Your making me go fuckin' crazy here!"

"Adam!?"

"You Little Mother F-!"

Silence.
There was nothing he had ever wanted more. Leaving her with her own before he realized he had always needed her screaming and yelling at him to survive.
