Controller of your Mind

"Ever day i wonder if it was my body's natural alarm clock that got me up for the morning or if it was the constant reoccurring dream, nightmarish and and creepy.
Minutes later i'd forget though, why it was even important to think. I was always caught up in HER life."

Fred was always thinking like this. He often times hoped that he wasn't the only one who felt such a terrible pain, but was it wrong for him to be wishing it on others?

"Holly" he called

She turned slowly hoping that it was just her mind hearing voices but we are never lucky enough to get what we hope all the time. So she stood there un-surprised and up set from the last time she saw Fred. "hello" simply enough was her way of showing her sting.
Before Fred could even speak or begin to explain why he was even there Holly hissed at him

"Well if you have nothing better to do i think you should let me go because frankly im tired. im tired of people telling me what i can and cannot do, so. What will it be?"

To begin to under stand people we need to under stand their history, and for Fred and Holly there are more ruins hidden in their lives than under the grounds of Rome.

"Holly darling i honestly think you should just do what your father wants you to do hes not tryin to put ya into a cage. Darling he is just tryin to protect ya from That no good Bast-"

She struck him hard in the cheek to shut his mouth.Holly knew she was no good at choosing men, but something deep within her cold hard heart there was a tender selflessness for the helpless.But those who cannot help themselves will always be lost.

Fred just stood there and stared and without another word, lit up a cigarette and left Holly alone to her mind.

Fred tried to sleep that night knowing that Holly was driving. He went to sleep that night knowing she was with the wrong person, who was into the wrong crowd and the wrong "business."

But he could not control his mind. He could not sleep. Understanding was the closest he would ever get to freedom.

AS Holly was lost and caged by the helpless, Fred was caged by her.
